NJ Department of Children and Families
The Department of Children and Families serves children, youth and families who need a variety of supports including New Jersey's Children's System of Care. The System of Care supports children and youth ages 5-21 with emotional, mental, developmental, substance abuse and behavioral health needs. The System of Care is committed to providing these services based on the needs of the child and family in a family-driven, community-based environment. If you need assistance for your child, please contact Perform Care, who can speak with you about services and supports at 1-877-652-7624. You can also reach Mobile Response Services and Stabilization at 1-877-652-7624. Mobile Response can respond to your home within one hour to support you and your child during a difficult situation.
NJ Care Management Organizations (CMOs)
NJCMO is grounded in keeping youth safe, healthy and connected, and keeping families strong. They do this by building teams comprised of family, friends and community partners all working towards the same goal. All CMOs are a part of the New Jersey Children’s System of Care and we coordinate services and create plans tailored to every child’s individual needs and based on strengths of all team members involved, to positively impact the youth’s wellbeing.
ResourceNets are a collection of articles, sources, services, support and more for families across New Jersey. These directories are free to access and for all community members to locate community-based, informal and formal resources for their family.
Each ResourceNet is administered by the respective Care Management Organization (CMO) in each county and supported by the Department of Children and Families’ Children’s System of Care (CSOC). Each CMO’s ResourceNet is comprised of programs, supports, services and events for families specific to their county of residence in New Jersey.
